The annual dues of all members shall be due and payable on or before January 1 of each year.

Membership in the Association shall be composed of Summary Court Judges who shall be classified according to their status as Active Members or Retired Members. A Summary Court Judge is defined as a Magistrate, Municipal Judge, Ministerial Recorder or any other person who exercises judicial authority in the Summary Courts of South Carolina.  In addition, the Executive Committee may bestow Honorary Membership in the Association as it deems appropriate.
